For me, I have created a life I love and I'm not done. I'm going to consistently and continually expand and grow and become the most potent version of myself so that I can best serve everyone around me. Welcome to the Thrive Her podcast. I'm your host, Amy Sanders.
I'm a fitness and wellness pro, mom, stepmom, second wife, and master certified life coach. I'm here to help you manage your mind so you can uncover the most potent version of yourself and create the thriving life you love. Hello, hello. If you are listening to this podcast right now and you have been tuning in to previous podcasts, you are going to notice that it sounded very different.
We also have a new name and that is actually what I'm going to talk about on the podcast today. It's basically why things are shifting and what direction I'm wanting to take the podcast from here on out and everything that goes along with it. So when we first started this podcast, it was my husband and I who initially started it and we had a really passionate goal to help people who are blended, who are in second marriages. Who are.
Struggling with divorce, who are maybe in their first marriage, but it is on the rocks or whatever. We had a ton of content that we wanted to consistently and continually roll out around everything that has, that we've learned in our lives actually. And so we started down that path and at the time it felt really good and I was coaching a lot on divorce at the time. I was coaching people on how to heal.
And it was good. It was good. Within five months of the podcast being published, like going live five months later, we were increasing the listeners. Everything was growing and some haters got ahold of it and they took it from a five star rating down to a two, which buried the podcast and less people were listening and tuning in.
Yeah. During this time, it was hard because I felt very attacked. Unfortunately, I know who these people are. And so it was, it was a hard thing, but from that experience, I consistently have been putting out new episodes.
I know that I have people that listen every single week, however, it hasn't grown to the capacity that I know that it can because of a few different things. So energetically, I decided to make a shift and my ultimate goal with the podcast. As I've continually moved forward, networked with other coaches, networked with people, helped more people, I've really come away from coaching couples or divorce. I still do a little bit of that, but ultimately what's happened is I do a ton of work around entrepreneurship, but mainly helping women rewire their brains.
How do you do that? How do you rewire their brains? Helping women figure out how to let go of the self-sabotaging cycles that they're in and how to create new beliefs. We talk a lot about this on the podcast and it is a huge passion of mine.
I am extremely passionate about showing women what's possible, showing them that they can, showing them the way, showing them what they're capable of so that you guys can thrive. Women. I've always believed. We're so special.
I laugh because even as a child, I just thought women are beautiful and we do so much, but so often we sabotage ourselves and we don't know why. Whether it's in our business, our relationships, goals we have, and women are amazing. My goal moving forward is to help you thrive. Is to help you move forward.
I love that. You just need to move forward, see what's possible, and then teach you how to achieve it. If you've been following my content and the work that I've been doing over time, my life has continually opened up. For years I put up with abuse.
For years I put up with being in an unhappy relationship. For years I would people please at the expense of myself. And it was hard. but I also had this like yearning inside of me that this is not it.
This is not right for you. And so as I turned inward, as I started to change my belief patterns about what was possible for me and did the work healing, my life has gotten better and better and better. And I don't say this to brag. I say this because that is really the work that I do, is teaching you how you can uncover that true potential, how you can uncover the most potent version of yourself, and that you can literally have a thriving life.
And that, the word thrive, I love, but it's different for everybody. One woman might be very into entrepreneurship. Another woman won't be, but they both have a lot of imposter syndrome or beliefs that they can't have that goal or dream that they're desiring, that they're not worthy of it. And that's what I want to continually help you see in this podcast and all the work that I'm doing is yes, anything is possible.
If you, if you think it, if it's in your head, then you can achieve it. If it's going around, like you're pondering, could this be, can this, is this possible for me? It is possible for you. For me, I was very excited when I launched the podcast.
It was growing, growing, growing. And then within five months, after five months, I actually discovered some of the stuff that was said about six months after launch date. I was devastated. I was like, are you kidding me?
I'm going to put good out there in the world. And these people want to tear me down. And at that point, I really could have just said, you know what? It's not worth it.
But I was like, I'm not going to let them tear me down. I am stronger than that. I'm more resilient than that. So although the views have gone down, although the listeners are less than they were, people are still listening and I still have stuff to share.
But as I was sharing, and as I was interviewing, as you know, so many awesome people have come on to be on my podcast. And I'm not done. I have so much more that I want to share with you. I have so much more that I feel even more aligned with than I did when I started this podcast.
And so the goal moving forward is when I bring people on, it's people who are thriving. If I'm bringing on a coach or a professional, pushed through, who is resilient, and who has decided to take power into their own hands and create the life, the life that they love. And I want to help you create the life you love. For me, I have created a life I love and I'm not done.
I'm going to consistently and continually expand and grow and become the most potent version of myself so that I can best serve everyone around me. So that is what this podcast, is going to be about. As you know, I've had awesome people on here so far, not done. It's going to have a different feel.
It's going to look a little different, but it's going to be even better. I am up leveling my podcast. I am up leveling my life. I am up leveling my business and I am serving those people that I know need me most, which is you.
So I hope that you will continually, go on this journey with me and that you will continually tune in as we get better and better at creating even better podcasts. And if you feel so inclined, I would love for you to review my podcast. Leave a review. If you like it, leave a review because that will continually help it grow as well as we still have some negative comments on there from those haters.
Now, speaking of haters, at first, it totally got me down. I felt like the wind had been taken from my cells and I was just like, are you kidding me? But I continued to post anyway. I continued to release episodes.
However, I've learned that when you are putting yourself out there, when you are speaking from your heart and when you are talking about your points of view, you will trigger people. There will be haters. There will be people that tell you that you can't or people that talk, behind your back or people that are jealous. Maybe they don't stand in your corner anymore.
They don't applaud your successes. Those are not your people. Your people are the people that are going to boost you up. The people that are going to help you soar, that are going to give you wings.
I want you to not just come along this journey with me on just my new look of my podcast, but I want you to look at your life too. Are you being consistent in the little things? Are there the people that are maybe the haters in your life? Are you letting them dictate your future?
Are you letting them keep you held back in your life? I want you to let that go. They're not worthy of your time. Let it go and start to move forward towards those dreams, those goals, that version of you that you know exists inside your soul that is singing to you.
Tune into that. Step into that energy because that's where that transformation comes. I'm excited you're here. I'm excited that you're tuning in.
I'm excited for our next chapter with the podcast. It's going to be awesome. I have so many great things planned for our new podcast called Thrive Her 2. 0.
I'm going to show you how to thrive and how to step into your next version, your upgraded version of yourself. With that, take care. I will be here next week on the podcast with our new name, Thrive Her 2. 0.
